I have lots to tell you!
On May 7th I played in Hereford Roller Girls Superheroes Charity Game. This game was made up of 2 teams of mixed adult and junior skaters. The juniors played a jam then the adults played a jam, we kept taking it in turns. This was my second ever game on a full size track. I found it much harder than last time because I was playing against my own team. They know how I like to jam and were able to block me. It showed me I need to work harder in training to get better and stronger. I love playing Roller Derby.

On Wednesdays I go to Basic Skating Skills, last week I passed my Grade 5 – Basic Edges & Balance. I like to skate as much as possible.
TONIGHT I PASSED MY LEVEL 3 SKILLS ASSESSMENT AND RULES TEST, I AM NOW A LEVEL 3 PLAYER! I am so excited! Level 3 is played to the same rules as adult roller derby. When I was jamming at Level 2, I was able to juke around behind the wall and then get through a small gap. At level 3, I will be playing against much taller, older players who can now hit me at full speed, this means I need to practice keeping low.
I need to say a special thank you to ZebRoar, who helped me read the rules test tonight. There are lots of difficult words for a 10 year old! ZebRoar is the Head Referee in my league, she helps us with our skills and rules.
Finally, I heard back from Eastbourne Extreme this week, I got a place in the Junior game. Eastbourne is a fantastic outdoor roller derby weekend in the UK. Last year I watched everyone play, this year I get to play! Here is a link to their Facebook Event Page.
